Use the map; keep your judgment
Terms of use
Ecosystem Map is a thinking and communication tool. Its diagrams and AI handoffs are not approvals, contracts, professional advice, or proof of authority.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for the content you enter, the people with whom you share it, and the decisions made from it. Use the service only with information you have the right to use.
No automatic truth or authorization
A box or connector records what a user entered. It does not establish that a relationship exists, that a participant has legal authority, that information may be disclosed, or that a proposed implementation is correct.
Business and professional decisions
Maps may support discussion, planning, and software development. Independently verify legal, financial, technical, safety, warranty, privacy, and other consequential decisions with the appropriate qualified people and controlling documents.
Availability and storage
The service is provided as available. Browser-local or cloud maps may be lost or temporarily unavailable. Automatic backup and revision history reduce risk but are not a substitute for exporting important work.
Private links
Anyone with a complete private view-only link may be able to view the selected map until the owner revokes the link. The owner is responsible for choosing recipients and keeping links out of places where they should not appear.
Free and Pro service
The free service includes the browser mapper, local saving, portable exports, and the base AI handoff. A paid Pro subscription adds commercial-planning features, advanced handoff scopes, and cloud-map services described on the pricing page. Features may improve over time, but an active subscription does not transfer ownership of the software.
Subscriptions and cancellation
Stripe handles recurring monthly or annual billing. Prices and billing intervals are shown before checkout. You may cancel through the billing portal; cancellation stops future renewals and Pro access ordinarily continues through the paid billing period. Except where law requires otherwise, fees already charged are not automatically refundable.
Account security
You are responsible for keeping control of the GitHub account used to sign in and for activity under your Ecosystem Map account. Notify support promptly if you believe the account or a private link has been compromised.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service to violate law, infringe rights, distribute malicious material, impersonate others, or attempt unauthorized access to systems or information.
Changes
The service and these terms may change as the product develops. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
