Map content

Boxes, connector descriptions, reusable functions, named maps, and the last open map are stored locally by your browser. Clearing this site’s browser storage removes those local copies.

Account identity

When you choose GitHub sign-in, GitHub supplies an account identifier, display name, email address, and profile image when available. Ecosystem Map uses that identity to keep your subscription and cloud maps separate from other users. It does not request access to your repositories.

Cloud maps

Cloud map content and revisions are stored in the application database for the signed-in account. Revisions older than 90 days are removed during later saves. Free browser-local maps remain separate unless you deliberately save them to Pro cloud storage.

Payments

Stripe processes checkout, payment details, subscription status, invoices, and billing-portal actions. Ecosystem Map receives the customer and subscription identifiers and status needed to grant Pro access, but does not receive or store your complete card number.

Private links and Codex retrieval

A private view-only link is a bearer link: anyone who receives the complete link can view that selected map until the owner revokes it. Only a cryptographic hash of the link token is stored. The current web application lets the signed-in owner manage cloud maps and private links. A separately installed OpenAI plugin may use its own OpenAI account connection to retrieve maps saved through that plugin's compatible cloud service; it does not automatically gain access to this website account.

Exports and clipboard handoffs

When you export JSON, the file is created for you to download. When you choose Copy for Codex, the application places the structured briefing on your clipboard. You decide where those exports are stored or shared.

Hosting information

The hosting service may process ordinary technical request information needed to deliver the site, such as IP address, browser information, timestamps, and security or diagnostic logs. Ecosystem Map does not currently add its own advertising trackers or behavioral analytics.

Sensitive information

Do not place secrets, passwords, regulated personal information, or material you are not authorized to share into a map or export.

Clearing data

Deleting a cloud map removes its cloud revisions and private links. Clearing browser storage removes local maps separately. Export important work before either action.

Changes

This policy will be updated before materially different data handling is introduced. Material changes will be shown here with an updated effective date.
